America has been called the “bread basket” of the world, due to all the wheat we grow and export. But much of the world – especially Asia – eats rice instead of wheat.
Questions –
· Can you guess any of the top ten rice producing countries? Annually, these ten nations raise a combined yield exceeding half a billion tons of rice. Two of them are quite small, even though they grow large rice crops.
